Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand

Keys to your future

Project based learning is more than learning information.  Learning takes on a whole new meaning when students are asked to actively engage themselves in the process of learning.  John Dewey stated “I believe that the active side precedes the passive in the development of the child nature.“  The student-centered active engagement enables students to love to learn.

In a world where technology is increasing at such a rapid pace students need a foundation that prepares them for the future.  This YouTube video states clearly that the future that we are preparing for is unlike what we currently experience.  Much of the information we learn today becomes obsolete and useless.  That is, unless we are learning skills that empower us to adapt as the earth changes beneath our feet.

Project based learning is the key to preparing students as information seekers who take on any project life can throw at them!
